Turkey Burkey

Kai thinks it’s soo funny when I call him “turkey burkey”. He tries so hard to laugh, but no sound will come out. It’s a hard belly laugh from a little old man in a silent movie. Just a few.

I haven’t seen snow like this since I was a little! And we are supposed to be getting up to 4 in. today too. Last weekend we got to turn the heat off and wear shorts. Some crazy East Texas weather! I took my cheapo tripod out at about midnight to get the night ones. Our neighborhood was filled with grown-ups sneaking out to enjoy making their own snowmen.

Ronna brought Kai over for me some practice, and I blew it. Absolutely. Completely. I had all these ideas and as soon as they got here, my mind was blank. Not my best work, but my first newborn, and I got a few decent ones. I learned alot. So thanks Ronna for letting me practice. I appreciate it.

Whew, I just barely made it. I’m still doing it though! It’s been 4 days in a row! I’m on fire! (and already improving too!) I was trying to blow the white to just show the color, and I did it on my first try! AHA! I controlled my own light. They turned out exactly how I saw it in my head. I love it when that happens.
