My attempt at fireworks in Longview this year. Every year I attempt this and every year they are drastically different. Maybe I’ll find some old ones and post them later on. Brace yourself, it’s gonna be a long one.

The kids found him in the neighbors yard. He was cold and wrapped in a tight little ball. His eyes aren’t even open yet.
We brought him in the house and put him on a heating pad and he’s crawling around and chirping now. Today he will be gone to live with a wildlife rehabilitator and we’ll miss him. But he will be well cared for and then released back into the wild as all wild animals should. Goodbye Twitches. It was nice to know you.

Luke and Aidan met up with Kim and Tyler on Sunday. They went to see Samuel L. Jackson campaigning for Barack Obama. Oh, yeah, Luke took the pictures!! I think you did a great job!
